SUMMARY: Oversee operations of advisor techs

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work directly with appointed advisors and assist in dispatching work to the respective teams
  • Responsible of maintaining that each tech on his team is a minimum of 100% level of productivity
  • Responsible for team’s quality of repairs
  • Assist techs on their team with diagnosing and repairs of coaches when needed.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and appearance of their team’s bays
  • Monitor daily team production, and ensure that teams goals are met
  • Review daily teams work in process and prioritize as needed based on total days coach has been in service
  • Ensure every team member is trained on proper use of all shop equipment
  • Help attain any needed information from the manufacturers for their team’s repairs focusing on fixing right the first time.
  • Ensure that every completed coach has been through the QC process and repairs verified and fixed correctly.
  • Assist all team members are properly trained on the use of the computer as it relates to Parts requisition, job assignment, running clock time, proper verbiage in the correction line, flagging and finishing work lines stated on the repair order, along with accurate out mileage verification when applicable.
  • Monitor daily that all team members are using the correct flat rate manuals for accurate and allotted times for each repair.
  • Responsible to ensure all team members adhere to work schedules.
  • Ensure that all team members are following all safety and OSHA requirements deemed by law.
  • Attend all company required meetings and training
  • Additional responsibilities as requested or required.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Repair / technician experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record to meet insurance requirements

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
