SUMMARY: The Treasury Analyst supports a multi-unit RV dealership group by managing daily cash operations and banking activities. The analyst is responsible for various functions related to cash management, payment processing, and bank reconciliations, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of the company's funds. We seek a detail-oriented and proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain excellent organizational skills, and continuously seek process improvements in the treasury function. Strong customer service, time management, and collaboration skills are essential, as this role involves working closely with dealership locations and internal finance teams to support smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cash Processing & Payments: Process and track incoming/outgoing payments across multiple dealerships, ensuring accurate and timely transaction recording.
  • Electronic Funds Transfers: Manage daily wires and ACH payments with precision, maintaining proper documentation and using banking portals for transaction execution.
  • Banking Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve banking or corporate finance issues and discrepancies, including researching payment problems or returned items promptly and collaborating with banks to correct any transaction errors.
  • Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries related to cash activities, such as bank account transactions and intercompany fund transfers, to ensure the general ledger reflects all treasury movements. Work closely with the accounting team to reconcile these entries during the month-end closing process.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile dealership bank statements, verify transactions, and post adjustments to align ledger and bank balances.
  • Bank Fees & Account Analysis: Review and resolve bank fee discrepancies, and work with banks to optimize account structures (e.g., sweeps or account hierarchy) for cost efficiency.
  • Communication with Dealerships: Provide precise and responsive support to dealership locations on banking issues, such as chargebacks, deposit discrepancies, and reconciliation questions, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend enhancements to treasury workflows, including automation and control improvements.
  • Collaboration & Support: Collaborate with finance and accounting team members to resolve issues and ensure alignment on cash-related matters. Escalate complex problems to senior team members or management when needed, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be willing to commute to Tampa, FL
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience); strong understanding of financial principles required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in treasury, finance, or accounting; experience with cash management or corporate/dealership banking is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations; familiarity with financial or treasury systems is a plus
  • Accounting Knowledge: Basic knowledge of treasury operations and accounting (e.g., debits/credits, reconciliation, journal entries); able to learn internal systems and banking portals.
  • Detailed-Oriented: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in case-related tasks; diligent in identifying and correcting errors.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data, resolve discrepancies, and trace transaction errors using a logical, data-driven approach.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; able to clearly explain financial issues to non-specialists, coordinate solutions, and provide responsive, practical support to internal stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Highly organized and able to multitask under pressure, consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Integrity and Reliability: Trusted to handle company funds with professionalism, confidentiality, and strict adherence to policies and controls.
