Lazydays RV is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team! 

 

Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and personable individual to join the Lazydays team in the dual role of Receptionist and HR Generalist. This position will be the first point of contact for our visitors while also providing essential support to our Human Resources Department. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong understanding of HR functions.

Responsibilities

Receptionist Duties:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer, screen and route calls to appropriate employee or team.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry and maintaining office supplies.
  • Maintain corporate office seating report

Contributes to HR-related duties in one or more of the following areas:

 

Employee Relations

  • Respond to employee and vendor inquiries regarding general HR-related matters
  • Employee Records Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information and benefits.
    • Scan, organize and save employee documents into the appropriate HR file management system.
  • Stays up to date on policies and programs and can answer employee questions as they arise.
  • Review and respond to unemployment insurance questionnaires in a timely manner.
  • Assist with gathering documentation for legal matters, audits or investigations while ensuring confidentially and accuracy.

Benefits/Leave

  • Assists employees with benefit-related questions.
  • Maintaining accurate employee benefit records, updating employee information within UKG.
  • Audit employee benefit data as needed/requested.
  • Review and verify employee bonus referrals to ensure eligibility, accuracy, and timely payout.

Talent Acquisition

  • Candidate Experience: Provide a positive candidate experience by maintaining communication throughout the recruitment process, including timely updates and feedback where appropriate.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings to verify candidate qualifications.
  • Onboarding: Collaborate with HR to facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires.

Qualifications

  • Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English
  • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • 2-3 years progressive H.R. experience.
  • Ability to influence, consult, and negotiate.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle and balance multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment and meet required deadlines.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and interpret company policies.
  • Knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and Training & Development

 EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor degree preferred.
  • HR Certification PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP a plus
